Islamabad (News International News - 28th November 2024) Barrister Gohar removed from the post of PTI Chairman, Asad Qaiser nominated as the new Chairman of PTI, Ali Muhammad Khan nominated as Secretary General. According to the details, the founder of PTI has made important changes in the party positions. According to ARY News, Barrister Gohar has been removed from the post of party chairman.
After Barrister Gohar was removed from the post, Asad Qaiser has been nominated for the post of party chairman. While Ali Muhammad Khan has been nominated for the post of Secretary General of the party in place of Salman Akram Raja. Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Secretary General Salman Akram Raja resigned from his post. Salman Akram Raja sent his resignation to the party leadership. Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Khan confirmed Salman Akram Raja's resignation. According to sources, Salman Akram Raja resigned for personal reasons. On the other hand, Barrister Gohar refused to accept Salman Akram Raja's apology.
Barrister Gohar instructed Salman Akram to continue working. Barrister Gohar said that neither the founder nor anyone has demanded his resignation. I myself am not resigning. It was told that Salman Akram Raja was entrusted with the responsibility of taking a convoy from Lahore to Islamabad. After the road was blocked, Salman Akram Raja planned to protest in Lahore.
Sources said that Salman Akram Raja had failed to evacuate workers in Lahore as well. Salman Akram Raja had faced severe criticism for not playing an active role in the recent PTI protests. In a video message released by Salman Akram Raja last evening, he said that all the roads were closed, bridges on Chenab and Ravi were closed and it was not possible for my friends who wanted to reach Islamabad.
It was not appropriate for me to go to D-Chowk and take pictures. It was not possible for anyone to leave Lahore on November 24. He also said that many people objected that many people, including me, did not reach Islamabad. I was on the streets of Lahore the whole day and it was known here that if even 20, 30 people gathered at one place, they would be lathicharged and arrested.
On November 24, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) called for a protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad. When the PTI leadership called for a protest in Lahore, a video of them went viral in which they were informing people about their location in their car and normal life was seen going on behind them.
