Lahore (News International Latest News. November 17, 2024) After the Indian team's refusal to come to Pakistan in the Champions Trophy, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) started taking other boards into confidence over the tournament dispute.
According to private TV Express News, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi met the head of England and Wales Cricket Board Richard Thomson in London last day. Expressing good wishes for him, he said that England's recent visit to Pakistan was very wonderful.
Our best wishes for the Champions Trophy are with the host, Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan is ready to host the tournament, the stadiums are being upgraded in a modern way while fool-proof arrangements have been made at all levels of security for the teams and the state Guest protocol will be provided.
Richard Thomson also thanked Mohsin Naqvi for his excellent hospitality during the recent visit.
Naji TV claimed from the sources that after the acceptance of the master security plan, BCCI and the Indian government have no legal and moral justification for not sending the team to Pakistan. The draft of the plan was also sent to the Indian Cricket Board on October 10. In the ICC Board meeting on the 21st, no objection was raised by any member country including India. If they say not to come, it will not be easy for them to get a clean chit. The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) may face stiff resistance from board members along with the ICC.
