Islamabad (News International Newspaper Latest. November 27, 2024) IG Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi has said that during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf protest in Islamabad, 900 protesters, including Afghans, were arrested and 200 vehicles seized. All terrorism under the guise of protest was carried out through the resources of a province. No one will be allowed to challenge the rule of the state. While holding a press conference in Islamabad along with Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa, IG Islamabad said that everyone has the right to protest but terrorist acts will not be tolerated under the guise of protest.

They are making a policy and now outsiders will not be allowed to stay here without security clearance. Foreign Afghans were also among the protesters.

Direct firing was fired on law enforcement agencies during the protest. Terrorism and damage to property is not a protest. The way these people came, they will not be called protesters but terrorists. There is a difference between protest and terrorism.

He said that no one will be allowed to carry out terrorist acts under the guise of protest. What kind of protest is this in which the police are attacked? Peaceful protest is your right, but when the protesters use weapons and attack the police and damage property and the citizens here are trapped in their homes, then this is not a protest, it is terrorism, which is our right to act against.

Tear gas shells were made. Officially, big fans are being made so that the smoke falls on the security personnel. The protesters wore masks. They brought all kinds of weapons. 39 guns have been seized, including Kalashnikovs and pistols. 71 were injured, out of which only 52 were injured in total. 26 Rangers officers were injured. If the protesters are caught, they use weapons.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that all law enforcement agencies played their role in the implementation of the law. All routes to and from Islam are open and all activities are continuing as usual. We will not allow anyone to challenge the implementation of the state. We have caught the Afghans ourselves. It is very important to establish the writ of the state.

If someone wants to protest in Islamabad, there is a procedure. The protestor should apply to the District Administration and it will be considered. He said that it was also said that they should protest in Sangjani, but they said that the protest should be held in D-Chowk. On the order of the Islamabad High Court, they were allowed to sit in Sangjani, but the miscreants were adamant about coming to the Blue Area and Red Zone.

The protesters were carrying weapons. Green belts and trees were burned. Metro bus stations were damaged. We welcomed the Belarusian delegation and also stopped the protesters on the other side. Police and Rangers personnel were also injured. No foreigner will be allowed to destroy the peace of Islamabad. Afghan citizens were also among the arrested protesters.

The President of Belarus and his delegation are in Islamabad. The state rate was challenged on the occasion of an important visit. It is very important to maintain the writ of the state.
