Perth (News International / Pakistan Point New - NNI. 25th November, 2024) India defeated Australia by 295 runs in the Perth Test to take a 0-1 lead in the 5-Test series of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The first match of the 5-Test series between Australia and India was played in Perth, in which the visiting team was bowled out for 150 runs in the first innings, but the host team could only score 104 runs, giving India a 46-run lead in the first innings.
In the second innings, the Indian team put in a surprising performance and declared the innings by scoring 487 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, setting Australia a target of 534 runs to win.
