Islamabad (News International New - 22nd November 2024) The Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad has declared Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur a proclaimed offender in the I-9 police station case. ATC Islamabad Judge Tahir Abbas Supra issued a written order. The written decision states that the application for exemption from appearance of all absent accused is rejected. The order states that after declaring Ali Amin Gandapur a proclaimed offender, the case was separated from the other accused.
The written decision by the court said that during the hearing, non-bailable arrest warrants were issued for the accused Raja Rashid Hafeez, Wasiq Qayyum, Raja Khurram Nawaz, Faisal Javed, Omar Tanveer, while the lawyers of all absent accused Sardar Busy, Murtaza Turi, Zahid Bashir Dar filed a petition for exemption from appearance.
The written decision said that the application for exemption from appearance of all the absent accused is rejected and their bail bonds are cancelled.
Further hearing of the case has been adjourned till November 28. It should be noted that yesterday, the proceedings were initiated to declare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as an advertiser, but despite being summoned, Ali Amin did not appear. The case registered against PTI leaders in the I-9 police station was heard in the Anti-Terrorism Court. The case was heard by Judge Tahir Abbas Supra of the Anti-Terrorism Court.
The court had initiated the proceedings to declare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as an advertiser for non-appearance. Despite repeated summons by the court, Ali Amin Gandapur was not appearing. The Anti-Terrorism Court Islamabad had cancelled the bonds of Faisal Javed, Raja Khurram and Wasiq Qayyum for non-appearance in the case registered at the I-9 police station and rejected the application for exemption from appearance.
A case was registered against PTI leaders Ali Amin Gandapur, Faisal Javed, Raja Khurram and Wasiq Qayyum under terrorism provisions at the I-9 police station in Islamabad. Earlier, the Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. ATC Court Judge Manzar Ali Gul heard the case, Ali Amin Gandapur did not appear in court, the court had issued an arrest warrant for Ali Amin Gandapur in the case of Manawan police station. The police had registered a case against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister under serious provisions for breaking the windows of vehicles during a religious rally.
