PTI founder's arrest warrant issued by Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand, if PTI founder is not wanted in any other case, he should be released

Islamabad (News International New - 22nd November 2024) Special Judge Central has approved the bail bonds of PTI founder Imran Khan in the Toshakhana 2 case. A writ was issued for the release of the PTI founder. The writ was issued by Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand. The court writ states that the bail of the PTI founder has been approved by the Islamabad High Court. If the PTI founder is not wanted in any other case, he should be released.
Two bonds of one million rupees were given by Tariq Noon and Raja Ghulam Sajjad for the founder of PTI. The court issued a written order for the release of the PTI founder in the Toshakhana 2 case. It should be noted that earlier the Islamabad High Court had ordered the approval of the bail of PTI founder Imran Khan in the Toshakhana 2 case and his release.
Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb of the Islamabad High Court heard the bail application in the Toshakhana case-II.
PTI founder Imran Khan’s lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar, FIA special prosecutors Umair Majeed Malik and Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi appeared in the court. The Islamabad High Court granted bail to the PTI founder by ordering him to submit bonds of Rs 1 million each. The court also ordered the PTI founder to appear before the trial court.
According to the order, the PTI founder was directed to appear at every hearing unless the trial court grants him an exemption from attendance. The order said that the PTI founder is warned not to misuse the bail concession. The prosecution can apply for withdrawal of bail for misuse of bail. However, later, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan was arrested in a terrorism case registered at Newtown police station in Rawalpindi.
The Rawalpindi police had registered a case against the founder of PTI at Newtown police station for arson, destruction of property. A case of arson, stone pelting, resisting police, damage to government property was registered against Imran Khan at Newtown police station under terrorism and other sections. It was also reported that a team led by the SSP Investigation had reached Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi to interrogate Imran Khan. A Rawalpindi police spokesperson said that Imran Khan will be produced in court for physical remand. The case against Imran Khan was registered at Newtown police station on September 28.
