Islamabad (News International News - 18 December 2024) Latif Khosa has named the names of those on whose advice PTI founder Imran Khan postponed the civil disobedience movement. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Latif Khosa says that PTI founder Imran Khan postponed the civil disobedience movement on the advice of Akhtar Mengal, Mahmood Achakzai and others. While talking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court, he said that the government used to say earlier that they would not talk.
They formed a committee for negotiations, but now they are mocking them. Those who have made them sit through Form 47 are running in their slavery. After the 26th Amendment, it became clear that they have completely put a saddle on the judiciary. The people saw the slightest hope of justice, but they have destroyed it by taking arbitrary decisions.
He said, tell me, will these arbitrary decisions bring stability to the country?
Until they bring political stability, they cannot bring economic stability. When they want, they open the doors of the jail even at night and in the morning. It should be remembered that yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan postponed the civil disobedience movement for a few days at the request of party leaders. Talking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan said that the party had asked the founder to stop the civil disobedience for a few days, to which the PTI founder agreed.
She said that Imran Khan had said that I was worried about the country, so I will wait for a few days. The government should fulfill these two demands of mine. Earlier, the PTI founder had announced to start a civil disobedience movement. The founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan said that if our demands are not met, they will start a civil disobedience movement.
The PTI founder had threatened civil disobedience if the demands were not met. PTI founder Imran Khan, in a message shared on social media platform WebX (Twitter), announced the formation of a five-member negotiation committee that will hold talks with the federal government on two important issues. Imran Khan had formed a five-member negotiation team consisting of Omar Ayub Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Salman Akram Raja and Asad Qaiser, which will hold talks with the government on the release of political prisoners and the demands of a judicial commission to investigate the violent crackdown on PTI supporters during the May 9, 2023 protests and the crackdown on PTI protesters on November 26.
