December 03, 2024) US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller says that protests around the world, including in Pakistan, should be peaceful, the Pakistani government should deal with protesters with respect, and we stand with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism and extremism. The US State Department Spokesperson further said during a press briefing held in Washington that everyone has the constitutional right to protest, but protests around the world, including in Pakistan, should be peaceful.
When asked by a journalist whether the Biden administration intends to provide modern weapons to Pakistan before the transfer of power, Matthew Miller said that I have nothing to announce at this time.
