Umair Ayub says that the people sitting in the government did not allow the negotiation committee to meet the founder of PTI Imran Khan in Adiala Jail. No one goes to meet in jail just like that. The time is fixed in advance. However, during this time, the negotiation team was not given access to Imran Khan in Adiala Jail and the government did not form a negotiation team during this time.
It is being told that the opposition leader got relief in the case registered against Omar Ayub under Section 144, including interference in the functioning of the government, threats, and other provisions. The court confirmed Omar Ayub's interim bail in the Secretariat Police Station case, while Omar Ayub withdrew his bail application after his name was not mentioned in the Aabpara Police Station case. On the other hand, the Peshawar High Court granted transit bail to Omar Ayub and Faisal Amin Gandapur till February 18. The court ordered not to arrest the two leaders. The Peshawar High Court heard the transit bail applications of the opposition leaders in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub and Faisal Amin Gandapur, before Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Waqar Ahmed. Omar Ayub and Faisal Amin also appeared in the court. The Additional Attorney General told the court that ‘a similar writ petition was filed, which was canceled’, the petitioner’s lawyer told the court that ‘in October, 50 cases were registered against Omar Ayub in which he got bail, in the second phase, the series of cases started again, 34 cases have been registered against Omar Ayub again, for which he has come to the court’. The court remarked that ‘no one has repented completely, unless the petitioner and the government repent, this series will continue’, the court told the Additional Attorney General to ‘leave the old series and tell about the new one’, in response to this, Omar Ayub said that ‘I was arrested from the vicinity of Adiala Jail, despite getting protective bail, I was arrested in unknown cases’, to which the court again sought details of known and unknown cases and granted Omar Ayub’s protective bail till February 18.
