New Delhi (News International / Pakistan Point News - NNI. 20 December 2024) Popular Indian Punjabi singer and musician Hans Raj Hans has said that he does not like any country better than Pakistan in terms of Sufism and art. Hans Raj Hans recently spoke to journalists and social media influencers after a performance at an event in the UK and videos of him praising Pakistan went viral.
Speaking to the media in Punjabi, Hans Raj Hans called the partition of Pakistan and India by the British in 1947 the biggest tragedy and said that the biggest loss was ours. The singer said that he feels like Lahore is his home, he wants to go to Lahore every day, eat bread there, meet friends and return to his home, but he is unable to do so due to borders and policies of countries.

He told a story from the past that once he went to Punjab, Pakistan. After going there, he was surprised that the people there were 100 percent similar to the people of Indian Punjab. According to him, the dress, language and even the habit of abusing each other of the people of Pakistani Punjab were similar to the people of Indian Punjab. Hans Raj Hans said that in the past, when he performed at the Wagah Border, for a moment he would go towards Lahore, and on the other hand he would go towards the Indian border.
He said that he wants the Holy Land to remain established, prosperous and peaceful while India also enjoys prosperity. We people have not learned anything from Europe. On the one hand, we die of hunger, and on the other hand, we spend billions of rupees on weapons. Hans Raj Hans said that his heart wants him to go to Lahore on foot, first visit Data Darbar, then go to Nankana Sahib, visit the fields and barns there, eat and drink and return. The Indian singer also praised the food of Pakistani Punjab and said that the taste of the food there is also like the food prepared in our homes. He said that he does not think any country is better than the land of Pakistan in terms of Sufism and art.
