Rawalpindi (News International News - 12 December 2024) Special Court Central One Islamabad indicted PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Tosha Khana 2 case. The founder PTI and Bushra Bibi denied the charges in court. Judge Shahrukh Arjumand heard the case in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. Founder PTI Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi appeared in court.


The court of Special Judge Central One indicted the accused. Judge Shahrukh Arjumand read out the indictment, after which the hearing of the Tosha Khana 2 case was adjourned until December 18. The initial investigation of the case was conducted by the FIA. The case was handed over to the FIA ​​in light of the NAB amendments. A challan was presented after the investigation in September.


Earlier today, the Islamabad High Court had disposed of the FIA’s bail cancellation application against Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, in the Toshakhana 2 case. The FIA ​​had taken the position that Bushra Bibi did not appear in the trial court for several hearings after being granted bail. Bushra Bibi is misusing the bail concession, so her bail should be canceled.

The court said that if Bushra Bibi does not appear in the trial court, the trial court judge could withdraw the bail. The Islamabad High Court said that if the accused misuses the bail concession, the trial court can also cancel the bail. Later, the Islamabad High Court disposed of the bail cancellation application of Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi. It may be recalled that earlier, arrest warrants were issued for Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder in the Toshakhana 2 case in the previous hearing.

The court had issued an arrest warrant for Bushra Bibi for her continuous absence. The court had also rejected Bushra Bibi’s request for exemption from attendance. The Tosha Khana 2 case was heard in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand said that Bushra Bibi did not appear in the court. The court had also issued a notice to Bushra Bibi’s guarantor. The court had asked Bushra Bibi’s guarantor why her shorty bonds should not be confiscated.
