Srinagar (News International / Pakistan News - 04th December, 2024) The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has said that the unbridled Indian military and notorious investigation agencies are committing heinous crimes against Kashmiris in retaliation for their demand for freedom. According to Kashmir Media Service, leaders and organizations of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Bashir Ahmed Andrabi, Imtiaz Reshi, Maulana Musab Nadvi, Jammu Kashmir Muslim League, Jammu Kashmir Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party and Jammu Kashmir People’s League said in their statements in Srinagar that India has turned the occupied territory into a big prison and usurped all the political, social, economic and religious rights of Kashmiris. He said that the Indian forces have unbridled powers under the black law Armed Forces Special Powers Act, India has deployed more than one million forces personnel to maintain its illegal rule over Jammu and Kashmir and the occupied territory has currently become the most heavily militarized region in the world.


He said that the occupying Indian officials are committing serious crimes against humanity in the region to suppress the legitimate aspirations of the Kashmiris and the Kashmiris are forced to live a life of constant fear and terror.


Hurriyat leaders and organizations made it clear that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed region, without resolving the Kashmir issue, lasting peace and development in the region is not possible. He said that the Modi government can never affect the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir through its illegal and unconstitutional measures. Paying a grand tribute to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Dachigam area of ​​Srinagar, he said that immense sacrifices will never go in vain. He said that despite all the Indian oppression, the morale of Kashmiris is high and they will never allow the BJP's Hindutva Indian government to succeed in its nefarious plan regarding Jammu and Kashmir. Hurriyat leaders and organizations urged the UN, OIC and world powers to take notice of the ongoing Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and put pressure on the Indian leadership to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
