Islamabad (News International New - 24th December 2024) The Foreign Office Spokesperson has said that the US sanctions will not affect Pakistan’s defense and defense decisions. The Foreign Office Spokesperson has given a clear message that the Pakistani nation will decide on Pakistan’s security. Many sanctions were imposed on Pakistan in the past, but we focused on our security. Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said in her message that the same will happen in the future as well. The sanctions imposed by the US on the Pakistani missile program are unnecessary and unfair. These measures cannot weaken Pakistan’s defense position.

He said that Pakistan’s missile program poses no threat to the US. Pakistan has faced various sanctions in the past as well.

The country has always focused on its security and will remain so in the future. India has started the race for missile systems and nuclear technology in the region and the major powers should take strong measures against India to help stop this race.

The US sanctions on Pakistan’s missile program are unnecessary and unjust. Pakistan has never said that it wants to have relations with the US that would create a war situation and require missiles. On the European Union’s concerns about military courts, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan’s constitution and courts have full capacity to resolve internal issues.

The Pakistani nation knows how to resolve its internal issues and there is no need for any external intervention in this matter. It should be noted that a few days ago, the US had imposed additional sanctions on four entities linked to Pakistan’s ballistic missile program. During a press briefing in Washington, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that the US was nominating four Pakistani entities for these sanctions.

These companies included National Development Complex, Affiliates International, Akhtar & Sons Private Limited, and Rockside Enterprise. All of these companies allegedly provided missiles and missile-related equipment for Pakistan’s missile program. According to media reports, the US State Department said that the US action was against weapons of mass destruction.

The companies in question had facilitated the acquisition of equipment for the missile program. Action will be taken against the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction or their means of delivery. They also said that this assistance included the manufacture of specialized vehicle chassis that were used to launch ballistic missiles. In addition, three Karachi-based entities were also identified.

The US will continue to take action against proliferation and related procurement activities. All of these entities are alleged to be playing or may play a role in the material proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. These sanctions were imposed under Executive Order (EO) 13382, which targeted weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems.
