Lahore (News International Newspaper Latest. November 30, 2024) The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court has issued a written decision rejecting the bails of PTI founder Imran Khan in 8 cases of May 9. The court judge has issued a 6-page written decision. The decision states that the statements of the witnesses of the May 9 conspiracy are on record, while the prosecution also has evidence of instructions to provoke.
According to media reports, the decision also states that the prosecution’s case is that the PTI founder hatched a conspiracy before his arrest. The decision said that in all the incidents, attacks were carried out on military installations, government institutions and police personnel. The PTI founder’s bails are rejected. According to the prosecution, the PTI founder hatched a conspiracy regarding his possible arrest, in case of arrest, other leaderships would jam the state machinery.
The written decision said that the lawyer argued that the founder of PTI was under arrest at the time of the incident, while the lawyer of the founder of PTI did not have any weight in his argument. The lawyer argued that bails had been granted in various cases after his arrest. The decision said that the prosecution’s case is that the founder of PTI directed attacks on military installations. Not only the leaders but also their supporters strictly followed the instructions of the founder of PTI.
The lawyer of the founder of PTI raised the objection that there is no date, time, place specified for the alleged conspiracy. The written decision said that each case should be decided on its own merits. The present case is not an ordinary case of conspiracy or incitement. The court said in its written decision that the founder of PTI is no ordinary man, his instructions and statements have value in the eyes of his supporters.
The other leadership of PTI did not even think of rejecting the instructions of the founder of PTI. According to the police, many such incidents took place on May 11, including violence against the police. The written verdict said that according to the prosecution, this conspiracy was prepared on May 7 and May 9 in Zaman Park. Undercover police officers had overheard this conspiracy while posing as PTI workers, the Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore found the PTI founder guilty.
