December 30, 2024) President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has said that all efforts should be made to raise the Kashmir issue at the international level and in this regard, Kashmiris living abroad, especially in the UK, should play their full role and raise their voice in the British Parliament and other forums to highlight the Kashmir issue and expose the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.


Because India has been committing atrocities on the Kashmiri people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir since August 5, 2019 and has displaced Kashmiris on their own land. India has started the settlement of non-state residents in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, through which it wants to change the population ratio in occupied Kashmir.


India is martyring Kashmiri youth in fake encounters, blinding children and elderly people with pellet guns and raping women in occupied Kashmir.


All these inhuman atrocities of India are against international human rights which India has been inflicting on Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir for the past 7 decades. In such circumstances, Kashmiris living all over the world and especially in the UK will have to unite and mobilize and expose these Indian atrocities in front of the world in a lively manner. He expressed these views in a detailed meeting with Lord Qurban Hussain, Member of the British House of Lords, at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Kashmir House, Islamabad today.


On this occasion, Lord Qurban Hussain, Member of the British House of Lords, assured the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, that he will play his full role in highlighting the Kashmir issue at the international level and especially in the British Parliament and will expose India’s atrocities. On this occasion, Lord Qurban Hussain, a member of the British House of Lords, said that the construction of an international airport in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, is a long-standing demand of the people of Mirpur, as a large number of the people of Mirpur live abroad.
