Rawalpindi (News International Newspaper Latest. December 10, 2024) Details of the answers submitted to the questionnaires by PTI founder Imran Khan in the court under 342 in the 190 million pound case have come to light. The court had asked 79 questions to PTI founder Imran Khan, in response to which the PTI founder said that the establishment is afraid of my popularity. It was said that the money was never seized in the UK but came to Pakistan due to an out-of-court settlement agreement between the parties. Al-Qadir University Trust is neither a ghost project nor has there been any embezzlement, abuse of authority, undue advantage or minor personal gain to me or my wife.
He said that the NAB CIT team visited the project and found it very active in imparting knowledge to the students on the campus through eminent faculty members. It is known to all that I have been actively involved in social work for the betterment of the society. Evidence proves that the Al-Qadir University project was created as a noble cause for the betterment of the citizens of Pakistan for the backward people of remote areas.
The prosecution has completely failed to prove our guilt. The state of Pakistan was not a party to this agreement. However, the Government of Pakistan only gave an undertaking to the NCA and private individuals that the contents of the out-of-court settlement agreement would be kept confidential. He said that the said transaction was in the knowledge of the relevant ministries of the federal government and the State Bank.
The serving Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, namely Dr. Inayat Hussain, admitted the fact that the State Bank was well aware of these transactions. My wife has been falsely implicated in this case to even the score at the behest of my political rivals and to appease the displeasure of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who was convicted by the NAB for being the beneficial owner of the Avonfield Flats on charges of corruption during my tenure.
Mr. Yasir Rehman, who was the first inquiry officer in this case, was also of the view that the case could not proceed under the NAB Ordinance. Therefore, the inquiry officer of this case was changed using the pretext of Yasir Rehman's transfer. Imran Khan also said that I have been tried for gifts from Toshakhana, we were both tried for marriage during Iddat together. Cases were filed in Lahore and Rawalpindi on the May 9th case. I was also tried in the cipher case. The NAB authorities have been hasty in prosecuting him and his wife. It is unfair, illogical and unjust to prosecute us alone without a complete canvas. In the 190 million pounds case, Imran Khan was asked in the NAB court why this case was made against him and why the prosecution witnesses gave statements against him, so Imran Khan replied that the political people standing with me were put in jail after the false false flag operation of May 9th.
