Donald Trump announces the end of birthright US citizenship, all illegal immigrants will be deported. Newly elected US President

Birthright citizenship is constitutionally protected, and US courts will block any attempt to impose such a rule through an executive order. US lawyers

Monday 9 December 2024

Washington (News International New - 09 December 2024) US President-elect Donald Trump has made it clear that he will make extensive changes after taking office on January 20, including the abolition of birthright US citizenship. However, this requires a change in the US citizenship law and the Constitution because the issue of birthright US citizenship is included in the fundamental rights given in the US Constitution.

According to the US broadcasting organization, the newly elected US President said in a talk show on “NBC” that he must immediately fulfill all the campaign promises made, including deporting all illegal immigrants in the US and abolishing birthright citizenship. When asked if he intends to deport illegal immigrants in the next 4 years during his term, he replied, “We will have to do it.”

Trump emphasized that we will eliminate birthright citizenship as enshrined in the US Constitution. If we can do so through administrative action, we will do so quickly. It should be noted that Donald Trump has criticized the right to birthright citizenship several times during the election campaign. He believes that the rules regarding automatically granting US citizenship to any child born on US soil should be changed.

However, US lawyers say that there are many members of Congress who became US citizens under this birthright citizenship law and that Donald Trump wanted to abolish this law during his previous presidency, but Congress prevented him from doing so because it is against the spirit of the US Constitution. The protection of individual liberties and civil rights is the foundation of the US Constitution. They say that if an attempt is made to impose such an order through an executive order, US courts will block it.

During the election campaign, Donald Trump addressed the public during an election rally and said that America is the only country where someone comes and has a child here and that child becomes an American citizen. According to the Constitution, a child born on American soil is also an American citizen whose parents are not American citizens and whose parents are in the United States illegally. During the interview, Trump also said that he would work to extend the tax cuts approved in his first term. He said that he would not try to ban abortion pills, but he intends to immediately deport millions of illegal immigrants. On January 6, 2021, Donald Trump promised to pardon those arrested in the attack on the US Capitol Hill on the first day of his presidency, saying that many people have endured excessive treatment in prison.
