Narowal (UrduPoint News International/ Pakistan Point News - NNI. 05 January 2025) Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that the government has launched a comprehensive development plan called “Udan Pakistan”. If peace and stability are maintained in the country and the policies are consistent, Pakistan will be among the fastest growing economies in the world by 2029. He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the construction of a road at the railway station.


He said that under the “Udan Pakistan” project, the income of Pakistani farmers will double, the economy will be strong and the lives of the people will improve significantly. Ahsan Iqbal said that our army is the protector of the borders, but maintaining internal peace is the responsibility of the people.


Conspiracies to weaken nuclear power are always carried out by creating internal disturbances, but the people of Pakistan will have to unite and thwart such conspiracies.


The Federal Minister termed the development of Narowal as the result of development projects launched under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and said that in 2008, Narowal was considered one of the most backward districts of Punjab, but today it is among the top five districts of Pakistan in the education sector. This success is the fruit of the hard work of the people and the vision of the government. He said that whenever the journey of development begins in Pakistan, obstacles are created in its path through conspiracies.

He appealed to the people to support the government to make the development projects successful and reject those elements that hinder the development of the country. Ahsan Iqbal said that the Pakistani nation is hardworking and intelligent, we have to use our capabilities and take Pakistan on the path of development so that Pakistan’s name is taken with respect and dignity in the world.

Ahsan Iqbal has said that the government is negotiating seriously and sincerely. The success of these negotiations depends on the demands that will come forward from the PTI. If there are any demands that the government can fulfill, it will definitely fulfill them. But Imran Khan’s imprisonment is not on political grounds. Imran Khan is in prison because he could not show the receipts. Those who used to tell others to show the receipts, when they were asked, all their receipts turned out to be bogus. When Imran Khan shows the real receipts and satisfies the law, he will explain why he deposited 190 million pounds in his friend’s account instead of depositing it in the government treasury. If he gives a satisfactory answer to these matters, he will be released. But if they cannot produce the original receipts, they will have to face the law. The only way for the prisoners who are in the Tri-Court to be released is through the courts, those whose cases are in military trials are in military courts, the Army Chief has pardoned some prisoners and they have been released, but neither the US nor the UK pardons those who have attacked Pakistan's military bases and committed serious crimes. No democracy in the world gives a license to any political activist to attack their country's military bases and apologize for it by giving it the color of a political protest.
