J.D. Vance is the third youngest US vice president.

The law student hails from a poor town in the state of Ohio. Report

Washington (News International- 20 January 2025) Republican Party Vice President-elect J.D. Vance is one of the third-youngest vice presidents in American history. He started life as an ordinary person but later achieved success. He was raised in a backward industrial town in the US state of Ohio.

He studied at one of the best educational institutions in America, called the Ivy League. Now he will be one of the youngest vice presidents in history. He lives in Jackson, Kentucky, which he calls home. His early life was spent in Middletown, where Vance was mostly raised by his grandmother, who was called Mama, who kept 19 handguns loaded with bullets in her house.

Speaking of Vance's early days, John Hollen, the Sheriff of Breathitt County, Kentucky, says that he always came here with his maternal grandmother. Grandma used to bring Vance here for mountain hikes so that he could get acquainted with mountain life, and obviously he loved it all. He served in the military as a Marine and then graduated with the highest distinction from Ohio State University. Vance studied at the highest institution in the United States, called the Ivy League, and received a law degree from the prestigious "Yale University" in the United States. It was at Yale University that J.D. Vance became friends with his classmate Usha Chalukri. It was there that Vance asked his long-term spouse to marry her. Vance told me on July 17, 2024, that when I proposed to my wife, I said, "Honey, I have $120,000 in law school debt and I have a cemetery plot on a hill in eastern Kentucky." J.D. Vance rose to national prominence with his 2016 book about America's working class, "Hillbilly Elegy," which was later made into a Netflix film, starring Glenn Close as the young J.D.'s estranged mother. Vance won his first election with his stepfather, J.D. Hamill, as his last name. With the support of former President Donald Trump, the young JD Vance was elected senator from Ohio and was soon chosen for the important responsibility of vice president. JD Vance said just minutes after being elected vice president of the United States that this is the greatest political comeback in American history and then we are going to have the greatest economic recovery in history under Donald Trump's leadership. Donald Trump chose JD Vance as his running mate, but the beginning of the relationship was somewhat unpleasant. JD Vance had previously called Trump "reprehensible" and claimed to be someone who never supported Trump. Now Vance's policies are a reflection of Trump's policies and when asked if the former president lost the 2020 election? He replied, "No. I think there are serious problems in 2020, did Donald Trump lose the election? Not in the words that I would use.

JD Vance has aggressive views on China and East Asia, opposes US military aid to Ukraine, and in response to a question on the Israel-Hamas conflict, he said, "On the one hand, Kamala Harris says she really cares about civilian casualties, and yet she refuses to give Israel the weapons that help them reduce civilian casualties." JD Vance's wife, Usha Vance, will be the next second lady of the United States. After JD Vance is sworn in, Yale-educated Usha will become the first South Asian-American wife of any US vice president. Usha Vance, a lawyer and daughter of Indian immigrants, is set to make a historic appearance as the wife of the Vice President. Born in California in 1986 to Indian immigrant parents, Usha Vance is a Yale-educated lawyer who has clerked for two conservative Supreme Court justices. The two met in law school. They married in 2014 and have three children. Since her husband has become prominent in politics, she has kept herself relatively out of the spotlight.
