Lahore (news international Newspaper Latest. November 11, 2024) Due to smog in the province of Punjab, new hours of closure of shops have been issued in various districts, the provincial government has also issued a notification. According to the notification, the implementation of the court decision to close the markets and shopping malls in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and Gujranwala will start from today. Nation Center will have immunity.

In the notification, it is said that all outdoor activities including outdoor sports programs, exhibitions will be banned, outdoor meals and gatherings of restaurants will also be banned, all outdoor activities including sports will also be banned. The action will be taken under the Environmental Protection Act, the ban will be applicable from today till November 17.


It is learned that pharmacies, medical stores, laboratories, vaccination centers, oil depots, bakeries, bakeries, grocery stores, fruit and vegetable shops will be exempted, meat shops, e-commerce postal, courier services and utility services will also be exempted. However, large departmental stores can only keep their grocery pharmacy section open, and strict action will be taken against those found guilty of violation.

Secretary Transport and Mass Transit Ahmed Javed Qazi said in a statement that the Department of Transport and Mass Transit Punjab Final action has been decided against and now strict action will be taken against private vehicles causing environmental pollution after public transport.

He clarified that the Transport and Master Transit Department has given a 7-day ultimatum to private vehicle owners to ensure immediate service of their smoke-emitting vehicles, otherwise heavy challans will be issued.
