PTI workers headed towards the Red Zone from No. 26 Chungi under the leadership of Bushra Bibi. Despite the support of founder PTI Imran Khan for an alternative place to protest, Bushra Bibi refused to accept.
Bushra Bibi insists on going to D Chowk at all costs. The police are continuously firing tear gas to stop the protest participants. The police were forced to give way after stopping the workers for two hours. The police and Rangers have taken over the fronts on G-9 signal Srinagar Highway.
The PTI convoy is advancing towards Srinagar Highway after crossing the barriers.
The police and administration have also set up a barrier at the G9 signal by placing containers, while DIG Operations Islamabad Police Ali Raza Alvi is leading the operation. Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has maintained complete silence on the negotiation issues, while Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar has also not been able to make any decision. According to PTI sources, the central leadership of PTI seems to be unable to determine the final location for the sit-in.
No one in the central leadership is ready to take responsibility. These are your brothers and sisters who are coming. Workers will reach D-Chowk. In the second important meeting, Imran Khan had recorded an important message for Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur and the workers. According to sources, after listening to the video message of PTI founder Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur and the PTI leadership were likely to announce the future course of action. According to sources, one of the government proposals has been agreed upon in Imran Khan’s video message.
