According to media reports, an emergency meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was held under the chairmanship of Chairman PTI Barrister Gauhar and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur in which the protest and other important issues were discussed. Party sources said that former President Arif Alvi, Sheikh Waqas Akram and other important party leaders attended the meeting held at the Chief Minister House Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The preparations for the protest and other arrangements were reviewed in the meeting. It was decided in the meeting that the protest will continue at all costs, there will be a sit-in at D-Chowk, D-Chowk will be reached after crossing all kinds of obstacles, this time there will be no return.
PTI Central Secretary for Information Sheikh Waqas Akram has said that the constitution gives the right to peaceful protest, we will not surrender under any circumstances, the entire nation will be on the streets on November 24. It has been reported that due to the protests of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, it has been decided to seal the federal capital Islamabad from 24 places and also stop the metro bus service. Containers have been placed on the entrance routes of Islamabad, Rawat T Chowk, Iran Avenue, 26 No. Chungi, Khanna Pul, Faizabad, Murree Road, Motorway Chowk, Expressway, Ninth Avenue, Jinnah Avenue, D Chowk, Serena Chowk, Marriott Chowk. In addition, IJP Road, Carriage Factory, Mandra and Taxila Road have been closed and Kacheri Chowk will be operated as one-way traffic. All connecting roads between Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be completely sealed. It has been learned that in view of the possible protests of the PTI, it has been decided to keep the metro bus service in Islamabad closed. On the instructions of the district administration, the metro bus service from IJP to Pak Secretariat will be completely closed in Islamabad on November 23, the metro bus service from President to Secretariat will be completely suspended for two days. A decision will be taken to restore the service after observing the situation.
