Islamabad (News International Newspaper Latest - APP. November 17, 2024) The remittances of Pakistanis working in the European Union recorded an annual increase of 27.1 percent in the first 4 months of the current financial year.

According to State Bank data, Pakistanis working in EU member countries sent 1.451 billion dollars in foreign exchange from July to October, which is 27.1% more than the same period of the previous financial year. Pakistanis sent 1.141 billion dollars in foreign exchange to the country.


The volume of remittances of Pakistanis working in the European Union was recorded at 359.1 million dollars in October, 365.5 million dollars in September and 297.6 million dollars in October of last year. It should be clear that in the first four months of the current fiscal year, the total volume of remittances of overseas Pakistanis was recorded at 11.848 billion dollars, which was recorded in the same period of the previous financial year. 8.794 billion It is 34.7 percent higher than the dollar.
