Karachi (News International / Pakistan News - 08th December, 2024) FIA Immigration arrested 3 female passengers involved in begging under the guise of Umrah at Karachi Airport. The FIA ​​spokesperson said that the female passengers tried to go to Saudi Arabia under the guise of Umrah for the purpose of begging, who were identified as Urooj Fatima, Maryam Nazir and Jamila Bibi. The female passengers were found suspicious during immigration clearance. The arrested women did not even have return tickets and hotel bookings.

The FIA ​​spokesperson said that the arrested women did not have enough money to pay for Umrah. These arrested women were also offloaded from Lahore Airport earlier. The arrested female passengers were transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi for further legal action, where further investigation was started.


On the other hand, a Pakistani citizen was sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the execution of the death penalty against a criminal in the Mecca area, in which it was stated that a Pakistani citizen, Akhtar Munir Zaheer, was arrested by security officials. As a result of the investigation, he was accused of drug smuggling and sent to the competent court. Upon conviction, an order was issued against him in which he was sentenced to death. The accused appealed his conviction, however, the Supreme Court upheld the sentence, after which a royal order was issued to implement the decision and the death sentence of the criminal, Akhtar Munir Zaheer, was carried out.


The Ministry of Interior says that the Saudi government is protecting the security of citizens and residents from the scourge of drugs and is imposing the strictest punishments according to the law against drug smugglers and dealers because drugs have caused the loss of innocent lives and serious corruption in society and violations of the rights of individuals. Whoever does this will face legal punishment.
