Islamabad (UrduPoint News International/ Pakistan Point News - 26th December, 2024 ) According to a statement issued by Al-Quds Today, the journalists’ broadcast wagon was targeted by a missile while it was in the Nussirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Today is affiliated with the militant Palestinian organization Islamic Jihad, whose militants fought alongside Hamas in the Gaza Strip and also participated in the terrorist attack in Israel on October 7, 2023, which led to the current Gaza Strip war.

The channel identified its five killed workers as Faisal Abu Al-Qamsan, Ayman Al-Jadi, Ibrahim Al-Sheikh Khalil, Fadi Hassouna and Muhammad Al-Laada.

A statement issued by Al-Quds Today said the members were killed “while carrying out their journalistic and humanitarian responsibilities.”

The statement added, “We reiterate our determination to continue our resistance media message.”

According to witnesses in Nusra, a missile fired by an Israeli aircraft hit a broadcast vehicle parked outside Al-Awdah Hospital, causing the vehicle to catch fire and killing the people inside.
