Rawalpindi (News International New - 05 December 2024) Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Gauhar and PTI founding chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan had an argument over the number of people killed during the protest. During the hearing in Adiala Jail, Barrister Gauhar, Barrister Salman Akram Raja and Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan had an argument in the courtroom over the conflicting number of people killed in the D-Chowk protest.
According to the report, Aleema Khan asked Barrister Gauhar why he said the number of people killed was 12. In response, Barrister Gauhar Khan insisted on the number of people killed as 12 and said, “How can we increase the details we have without verification?” Aleema Khan said, "Do you know how many of our people are missing?", to which Barrister Gauhar Khan said that we have formed teams that are working on it. On this occasion, Barrister Salman Akram Raja continued to support Barrister Gauhar Khan. Barrister Salman Akram Raja said that the party is busy collecting all the details. Believe me, the party will not let this matter go like this. On this occasion, Barrister Gauhar expressed regret for broadcasting the unconfirmed number of dead. Barrister Gauhar said that I do not have any confirmed evidence other than the death of 12 people. How can I say that hundreds of people died? Aleema Khan asked Barrister Gohar to tell which of the deceased and injured workers you visited, to which Barrister Gohar replied that he should ask Salman Akram Raja who went to the house of the worker who fell from the container. On this occasion, Salman Akram Raja told Aleema Khan that for God's sake, do not declare the workers who are appearing in the courts as missing.
On the other hand, Member of the National Assembly and PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan has said that Aleema Khan's words are not unimportant, but she has no role in the party.
