December 14, 2024) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says that the visit to China is insightful, I got the opportunity to know, understand and see a lot, China has stood with Pakistan at every juncture of history, the warm reception and warm welcome of the Punjab delegation will always be remembered, the people of the province will benefit from the fruits of this visit, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reached the Chinese city of Guangzhou during her visit to China, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz met with the Vice Governor of Guangzhou, Mr. Zheng Guozhi.


A special state dinner was organized in honor of the Chief Minister of Punjab in Guangzhou. Maryam Nawaz thanked the Chinese leadership for the warm hospitality. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister of Punjab said that Pakistan and China are tied to each other in a thread of sincerity.


The people of Pakistan and China are also connected to each other. China has always stood with Pakistan at every juncture of history.

Vice Governor Guangzhou Mr. Zheng Guozhi said that the Chief Minister of Punjab considers the arrival of Maryam Nawaz as a blessing. The efforts of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the service and welfare of the people are commendable.

It should be noted that the previous day, during the visit of Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz to China, it was decided to make Lahore the most modern smart city of Pakistan. On the fifth day of her visit to China, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif reached Huawei Technologies in Longgang District of Shanghai, where she was warmly welcomed. The Chief Minister of Punjab had visited Huawei Technologies and had seen various sectors while also visiting the factory with Huawei officials.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had invited Huawei to invest in Pakistan, especially Punjab, and had also offered cooperation in establishing an office in Nawaz Sharif IT City. Huawei was also offered to establish a Punjab retail office and after-sales service center across the province. The Chief Minister of Punjab met with Wang Chengdong, President of Huawei Government Affairs, in which various suggestions and recommendations were discussed to make Lahore a modern digital city, while he was also invited to visit Lahore. Huawei President Mr. Wang Chengdong gave a detailed briefing to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the delegation, while giving details about Huawei’s ongoing projects in Pakistan, especially in Punjab. Issues related to e-commerce, ecosystem production, health and digitalization of the education department were discussed in the meeting.
