Lahore (Urdu Point Latest Newspaper. January 3, 2025) The PCB will also earn a lot of income from the Champions Trophy matches in the UAE. Pakistan is to get more than half of the money earned from ticket sales. A written agreement will be signed soon in this regard.

According to the details, the Champions Trophy will be held from February 19 to March 9. The matches of the Indian cricket team, which refused to tour Pakistan, are to be held in Dubai. If the Blue Shirts reach the final, then 5 matches, if they are limited to the semi-finals, then 4, while if they are only eliminated in the first round, then 3 matches will be held in the UAE.

These include the Pakistan-India blockbuster match on February 23. The PCB had assigned the hosting of this match to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in the initial schedule. The authorities were hoping that the venue would be completely filled with spectators, however, the Indian board canceled the entire plan by citing the lack of permission from the government, but Pakistan will also earn a lot of income from the matches in the UAE.

A senior PCB official told private TV Express News that Pakistan is to get more than half of the money earned from ticket sales. The issues have been agreed upon in this regard and a written agreement will be signed with the Emirates Cricket Board soon. The Dubai Cricket Stadium has a capacity of more than 25,000 fans. In the past, there was no place for sit-ins during Pakistan-India matches and this is still likely. Along with Pakistanis and Indians living in the UAE, a large number of fans from other countries will come to Dubai. A large number of fans will also arrive in other matches of the Indian team. According to sources, the ICC is likely to release the ticket prices and sales schedule soon. If the Indian team reaches the knockout matches, it will affect Pakistan's income, especially the fact that the final will not be held in Lahore will be disappointing for the fans.
