Bagh (News / Pakistan Point News - APP - 10th February 2025) Deputy Commissioner Raja Sadaqat Khan, SSP Raja Akmal have said that it is the duty of the police to provide basic justice to the people along with protecting the lives and property of the people. It is the responsibility of the police to protect the lives and property of the people while staying within their limited resources and to restore law and order. Sub-Inspector Raja Hanif was known for his honesty, integrity, honesty, sense of duty and ability in the police department. He is retiring with honor today after completing 35 years of service in the police department. The department will always remember his absence. In Azad Kashmir, there is one policeman for every 1600 people out of a population of 4.4 million, but Azad Kashmir, especially Bagh district, is a peaceful area. The people here promote brotherhood among themselves. The news published by a few youths regarding Arja Flour Mill by presenting themselves as an action committee is against the facts, which the association has condemned. Arja traders and dignitaries rejected such false news and said that strict legal action will be taken against those who publish such news. They expressed these views while addressing a grand farewell ceremony regarding the retirement of Sub-Inspector Raja Hanif Khan at Arja Rest House. Retired Sub-Inspector Raja Hanif Khan was the special guest of the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by SSP (retd) Yasin Baig, DG (retd) Raja Irshad Khan, Deputy Accountant General Raja Mir Hussain Khan, DSP Shafiq Mughal, PDSP Raja Zulfiqar, Member District Council Raja Tabarak Ali, Dr. Tahir Jamal, Maulana Abu Bakr Siddiqui, Raja Tanveer, Raja Yasir Siddique, Raja Sagheer, former President Anjuman Tajran Arja, Raja Asghar SHO Arja Police Station, Raja Zahoor, Mission Kashmir Task Force Sardar Majid Afsar, Ghulam Mustafa, Raja Asif Sayyad, Principal Raja Naeem Anwar, Irshad Butt, Raja Waseem, Raja Amjad Arif, Chaudhry Shabbir, Raja Aamir Anwar, Qari Sayyad Farooqi, Hafiz Naseem and others spoke on the occasion. On this occasion, Sub-Inspector Raja Hanif was brought to Arja Rest House in a rally of hundreds of vehicles and motorcycles from Mangbajari Bazaar, where people welcomed him and congratulated him by garlanding him. Addressing the ceremony, the speakers said that Sub-Inspector Raja Hanif was an employee as well as a social leader. He served the suffering humanity throughout his life in the police department and solved the problems of the people on a preferential basis and has always supported the oppressed. Till date, he has not harmed anyone. He is a very noble person and respects the young and old. Today, the police department has lost a talented, honest, dutiful, compassionate person. Addressing the ceremony, Sub-Inspector Raja Hanif said in his speech that I have retired after completing 35 years of service in the police department. I have done the work of the people according to the rules and have not compromised the good name of the department. It is thanks to Allah that in 35 years I have not been charged even once and I have never been suspended. It is thanks to Allah that I have worked with 39 SPs and no one has ever mistrusted me. I sincerely thank the district officers, leaders of political and social parties, traders, journalists, and the people of the area for coming to this event today. They have come to my event and encouraged me. At the end of the event, a sumptuous dinner was arranged for all the guests at their residence in Attar Parian.
